In-Person Focus Group

Our In-Person Focus Group (IFG) allows attorneys to gather information and opinions about a particular legal case, legal concept, or strategy.  We use real-time feedback to identify what information or arguments are perceived as strong or weak.

Format:  We offer our In-Person Focus Group in two formats:  Our Standard Focus Group is four hours long.  Each side will have one hour to present their case.  Our Max Focus Group is eight hours long.  Each side will have two hours to present their case.

Real-Time Feedback:  We use real-time feedback to identify what information or arguments are perceived as strong or weak.

Individual Polling:  We poll each participant before they hear any case information, after each side presents, and pre and post deliberation.

Deliberation:  After observing both case presentations and receiving relevant instructions, participants deliberate and reach a verdict.  We then moderate discussions to elicit further feedback on specific issues of interest to the legal team.

Summary:  You will receive a full summary report detailing participant demographics, key themes, strategies and risks to assist you in developing your case.

Virtual Focus Group

Our Virtual Focus Group (VFG) allows attorneys to gather information and opinions about a particular legal case, legal concept, or strategy.  We use real-time feedback to identify what information or arguments are perceived as strong or weak.

DamageEstimator

Wonder what your case might be worth?  Our DamageEstimator is a way to learn the potential range of damages if the case went to trial.

How it works:  A neutral case overview video is produced with our team.  This video is shown to our participants who will then answer a questionnaire and assess damage amounts.  We will provide a report detailing the data collected and the potential range of damages.

JurorWatch

We all have previous experiences and biases.  Find out how they are affecting your case.  With JurorWatch, we monitor social media accounts during jury selection, trial and post-verdict.

How it works:  We gather and compile online social media activity reports

  • During jury selection:  We gather social media activity and red flag any potential issues.
  • During trial:  We monitor individual juror's social media accounts to ensure jurors are following court instructions, gain insight into their thoughts, and determine if they are communicating with other jurors through social media platforms.
  • Post-verdict:  We monitor individual juror's social media accounts to discover if they are posting about aspects of the case or communicating with other jurors.
Shadow Jury

Our Shadow Jury allows attorneys to gather day-to-day feedback on how the actual jury is likely perceiving the case.

How it works:  Our shadow jurors are present in the courtroom to observe the arguments and evidence just like the actual jury does.  We debrief at the end of each day.  We get insights into key issues and then brief the legal team so they can adjust their strategy on a daily basis, ensure the actual jury has the most favorable view of the case, and help the legal team address key issues in closing arguments.
