We offer notary public services in person, as a mobile service, or online.

If you need legal advice, consult with an attorney.  Notary Publics are prohibited from helping you prepare, complete or understand any legal document.  We are not an attorney licensed to practice law in Texas, and we may not give legal advice or accept fees for legal advice.

We want to make your notarial experience convenient.  Please read the following and arrive at our location prepared for a smooth experience.

  • Arrive on time.  Arrive on time at our location for your appointment.  Your appointment will be cancelled if you do not arrive within 15 minutes of your appointment time.
  • Bring a valid, government issued photo ID.  We will need to verify your identify.  Bring an ID card, Driver License, Passport, etc.
  • Be sure the documents are complete and ready for signature.  If you need legal advice, consult an attorney.
  • Bring all documents that need to be notarized with you.    If you have multiple documents, make sure they are all ready for signing.
  • If your document requires a witness to sign, bring someone with you or advise us that you will need a witness when arranging your appointment.
  • Schedule your appointment.  You can schedule an appointment by clicking the link below.  If you need service outside our regular hours, contact us by phone or use our Mobile or Online Notary Service.
  • Payment.  To schedule an appointment, prepayment is not required.  Be sure to bring sufficient payment for the notarial services needed.  The chart below describes the charges for notarial services.  We accept cash, check, credit or debit card payment (a 2.9% convenience fee may be charged on all credit/debit card payments and will appear as "Perkins Group").
Mobile

We want to make your notarial experience convenient.  Please read the following to be prepared for a smooth experience.

  • Service Area.  We cover a 75-mile radius from Amarillo.  Our $30.00 mobile fee covers up to 25 miles, and there is a $0.67 charge per mile thereafter which will be collected prior to notarization.
  • Arrival Time.  We will arrive within 15 minutes before or after the appointment time at the location you provided.  Your appointment will be cancelled if you are not present when we arrive.
  • Have a valid, government issued photo ID.  We will need to verify your identify.  Have an ID card, Driver License, Passport, etc.

  • If your document requires a witness to sign, have someone present with you to witness.

  • Payment.  To schedule an appointment, prepayment of the mobile fee (which includes up to 25 miles) is required and non-refundable unless the appointment is cancelled in accordance with our policy.  Payment for the notarial services needed and charges for more than 25 miles will be due prior to notarization.  The chart below describes the charges for notarial services.  We accept cash, check, credit or debit card payment (a 2.9% convenience fee may be charged on all credit/debit card payments and will appear as "Perkins Group").
Online

We want to make your eNotary experience fast and convenient, so we use a third-party remote online notary (RON) platform to verify your identify before we perform any notarial acts.  You will need a photo ID, email address, and a computer with a camera and microphone to use online services.


SCHEDULE A NOTARY SESSION.  Click the link below to create a notarial session:

  • Enter your email address.  
  • Select a date and time for your online session.
  • Upload your documents.Upload all the documents you need notarized during this session.
  • Check your email.  You will receive an email confirmation of the date and time of your appointment.  You can click on the link and continue as a guest or create an account with your email.
TIME TO SIGN?  Click the link found in your confirmation email.  We recommend you join your online notary session at least 10 minutes PRIOR to your appointment.  You will need to:
  • Validate your identity. You may be asked to complete knowledge-based authentication (KBA) questions and upload a picture of the front and back of your ID.  Both methods are secure and legally compliant.
  • Join the online session. After your identity is verified, you will join a virtual session using your camera and microphone.  During this session, you will electronically sign your documents together with the notary.
  • Pay for services.  After your documents are notarized, you'll pay for services.  We use a third-party remote online notary platform.  In addition to the fees for notarial services, they charge you a fee for using their service and for verifying your identity.  The typical charge is $21.00 for the first notarial seal and $15 for each additional seal.  Once you pay for services, your documents are available for download.  If you create an account, your documents can be downloaded at any time from your account.

Texas Government Code §406.024 sets out the maximum fees a Notary Public, or their employer, may charge for notary public services.  The following are the permissible fees:
